TESTIMONIALS & REVIEWS
What our visitors are saying...
"We've started coming to this area regularly, and Walnut Hollow is the first place we contact to stay. Charlie is meticulous about keeping a clean and orderly place, and puts guest comfort as a top priority. In fact, Charlie makes the whole place everything that it is--he is what infuses it with personality and charm. Without his humor and relaxed nature, we would not keep coming back. Both rooms and beds are super comfortable. Staying on the property is quiet and serene. There is a quaint relaxing pond with chairs by it to take in nature. No tv reception, but we don't want that anyway. Very helpful that guests can use the kitchen and there is fridge space. We've had a farm tour, and that is worthwhile too. You learn a lot of helpful info about meat and (some of) what it takes to run a ranch like this."
"Unique experience with friendly people. Knowing nothing about a cattle ranch, I asked a lot of questions - some pretty silly ones. Charlie had great patience with me and explained the inner workings of the ranch. My husband and I thought the tour was great- it gave us a better understanding of what it takes to produce the meat that we have come to take for granted. Beautiful ranch."
"Had the opportunity recently to have lunch and go on a farm tour of this Angus Beef ranch. The location is stunningly beautiful, the beef was delicious, and the owner Charlie was a wealth of information. He took time to explain a lot about the process of raising the cattle and how his farm has adopted dozens of conservation techniques and earned animal welfare approval. It was fun and educational - bet its a great place to stay as well."
