The main reason I have decided to buy my beef from Walnut Hollow, in Hayesville. Charlie Kissling raises his cows sustainability, with care, and it is by far the best beef I have ever had!

We spent New Year’s weekend here. The ranch is beautiful and centrally located to many attractions, such as Bell Mountain and Lake Chatuge. The room was very nice and spacious enough for three adults and two small dogs. It was nice to have the shared kitchen space. Charlie was super helpful and friendly. We bought some amazing steaks from him and grilled on New Year’s Eve. He had several excellent recommendations of what to do in the area. We will definitely be back. This is a great place for a weekend getaway in a peaceful area.

We stayed in the loft for 5 nights, and had a farm tour while we were there. Charlie wanted to make sure everything was good for us. He's so genuine, really puts together a nice room to stay, the property is super clean and idyllic. The farm tour is really informative and helps put in perspective what's important about buying and eating meat. The place is great, but what made it awesome was the upstanding person that Charlie is. We stayed at Walnut Hollow over the Eclipse weekend. Although we didn't take advantage of the tours and other amenities we had a great time. Charlie was an excellent host and his ranch is pretty awesome. Definitely buy some meat while you are there, it was delicious!

I was extremely fortunate to be with my daughter's family to view the 2017 total eclipse at Walnut Hollow Ranch. Though it was my first real camping experience, our tent location at the edge of a pond gave us a perfect view. The ranch had a "swimming hole" for the kids, a farm tour and plenty of room on the rolling terrain for tents...probably close to 100 tents and RV's. Charlie, the owner, greeted everyone and made us feel right at home. They served a wonderful barbecue lunch for everyone before the eclipse. I can't imagine being at a better place to view it. I'd like to come back as a farm stay, take the farm tour and taste the delicious grass fed Angus beef. Thanks, Charlie!

Had the opportunity recently to have lunch and go on a farm tour of this Angus Beef ranch. The location is stunningly beautiful, the beef was delicious, and the owner Charlie was a wealth of information. He took time to explain a lot about the process of raising the cattle and how his farm has adopted dozens of conservation techniques and earned animal welfare approval. It was fun and educational - bet its a great place to stay as well.

One of the most wonderful and unique things my husband and I have enjoyed was the Farm Tour at Walnut Hollow followed by the most enjoyable dinner. Charlie is very kind and informative and has the cleanest and most scenic farm ever! After the tour, several other local businesses joined us with wine, goat cheese and other local foods. Charlie put steaks on the grill. It was such a delicious meal, but the overall experience was just phenomenal. We can't wait to bring some of friends for this special experience!

Not only is Walnut Hollow Ranch a great family vacation spot to reach out and experience the Right and Natural way a cattle farm should operate, its country air and southern hospitality is admirable. My family and I are thrilled that we can take a piece of all this home with us by ordering this pristine beef online!! Thank you Walnut Hollow Ranch for caring.

Didn't know much about ranching & different types of cows. This tour was very informative. Beautiful clean facilities too. Also attended an evening with food & music! Quite relaxing & enjoyable! The meat from this ranch can't be beat. Served our house guests filets I purchased & every time we are together they mention that it was the best filets they have ever eaten!! Well worth a visit if you are on the Hayesville area of NC!

Stayed one night in our RV, beautiful property within an hour of waterfalls. From the store the brats and hamburger patties we bought were delicious wish I would have bought more to take home. Staff was very friendly and accommodating . Any time passing through North Carolina I would definitely stay here again and be sure to stock up on the meat.

After a long day of hiking we stopped by to see the farm and check out their meat products for sale. They were about to close up a little early, but were nice of enough to reopen for us. Bought 3 brats, a ribeye and a T-bone steak from Charlie and went home and grilled them the next day. They were fantastic. Nice people. Would come back to do the tour and have lunch there.

We love to talk "beef". Feel free to call or e-mail with any questions or concerns.
